I am leaving to Italy next week...is June 26th now 24. Interested in buying Tuscany area. how do I communicate with you to see some properties if possible?

I must say, you really outdid yourself with the photography. Again, no closets! I always thought Italians are so fashion conscious with lots of clothes and accoutrements. What gives?

Dam, Nick, I think you must have spent too much time outside and are suffering some kind of heat stroke if you think anything at all needs to be changed. It's totally perfect and doesn't look outdated in any way IMHO. Of course it would need central heat and AC, plus finsh getting the kitchen fitted out with the necessary appliances. This is one fabulous place, especially for someone like me that needs the quiet to read, write and research

I gladly appreciate the information that you've given me. I was looking at a piece of property that was going for €50,000. Would it be safe to say I would need a total of 10% down and another 10% for all the essentials? should I rent and work on a Visa. I am from the United States so I do have a 90-day stay in any of the EU countries. I was trying to understand what you were talking about between 90 days and 180 days I didn't understand that

I just can’t understand how Europeans can manage with such limited storage! Kitchen has no cabinets that I could see, bathrooms seem to have no storage for medicines, towels, and other necessities, bedrooms have wardrobes, so where do they store the hats, shoes, and other accessories, not to mention the linens, blankets, pillows. Americans really like their storage, and if these exist in your showings, they should be included in the tour.

Could you do a tour in Viterbo? Talk about price ranges and how to choose the quartiere? I'm a single woman and I'm looking around that area, aiming for a two bedroom apartment. If necessary, closer to Rome would be okay, but I need a city shopping somewhere close to me. It should be with moderate price, as I'm originally from a country with a low pension.

Still too expensive. The place has a huge potential for a gorgeous appartment, but the renovation will probably cost another €200. At least you can refurbish everything entirely to your taste! 🍀🤩❤️

Best thing with the house is that there is enough space. A lot of rooms. But, at the same time, it's gonna cost a huge amount of money, to get all rooms done. I would keep my horses here. Arrange riding vacations for a living. Many of those rooms up under the roof would be guestrooms. There would also be a small apartment for someone who would clean the house. And do the cooking. A dining room for the guests, but the rest of the house would be my private "apartment". Down side is the cost to turn it into a house I would like to have. And I don't like all the cracks in the walls. Also, wouldn't be cheap to redo a stable in some of the barns. And finally, I think it would be a nightmare to deal with the authorities regarding building drawings, permits, fees, etc.

Some, but not all, Italian consulates in the US now have the Digital Nomad/Remote Worker visa info posted. You'd be lucky to get any sort of in-person appointment/consultation made before the one where you bring all the required docs in to make the official application, though you might, if you're lucky, get someone on the phone who will tell you anything more than: go to the web site, arrange all the docs, and schedule an appointment. The required income on two sites I visited just a few days ago was the very specific amount of 24,789 euro "at the time of this writing in 2024," or $26,662. The info on what qualifies a worker is both somewhat detailed and somewhat unclear, frustratingly so, but the rest is relatively straightforward.

Oh my word Nick, that is SO beautiful. I adore the kitchen cupboard, straight from my childhood. I loved the orange/pink one and also the unrestored cream one. I love to hear you speaking Italian!! You are doing an amazing and perfect restoration. The garden is my dream garden, straight lines and rigid plantings are nowhere to be seen - oh I could get lost in there. Just as well I'm on the other side of the world, as there's a danger of encountering an old lady lounging under one of the trees.

Very grateful for your information on 1 euro properties, being a retired plumber and builder, I know only too well that most of those properties would have a lot of structural issues considering wars over the years and earthquakes and tremors in the past, what one may think it could be a 50,000 euro Reno could run we into 200-300 thousand euros, buyer be warned!! 😮

Great video. Now I am looking at my Tesco ready-meal and wishing I was at that restaurant.

I was close to buy a 1 Euro property around 2012, the Municipally in northern Italy sent me 9 different properties to choose from and one was even an old wineyard of a couple of acers. But I never continued with the deal and even though all properties needed a lot of love it felt like a really good deal to get such property for a steal, I could use it freely and also rent it out and stay there for a few months per year without being forced to to pay taxes in Italy.

Pretty beautiful house, I think this one has probably been sold a long time ago by now. The furniture was beautiful, and the color choice inside was nice. I don't like that so many bathrooms have been built, I think I would have thrown out a few. But if it has functioned as a hotel, you understand. And a library is a must in my house, also an art studio. The water tower was ugly, lol. And I don't care about any wine celler, I dislike wine. It would have been nice to have known the size of the land/garden, I didn't hear that. Because it's a pretty expensive property. I never pay for the history of the previous family. It doesn't mean anything to me. Why are they selling, makes you wonder?

I can't imagine this didn't sell right away. For me, it is heaven on earth. What a wonderful place to own and Steward. Whoever got it, I am sure, is very happy. I would snap it up in a New York minute. The peace, the nature, so restorative. The only thing I'd do is divert some of the water that would come down on rainy days and create a mosaic cistern. It's truly a marvel, thank you for featuring it. I am new to your channel and now I must binge watch all your content. 😊
